The Institute of Textile Science (ITS) invites students to present their research and development work in textiles, textile-based and related material science. Students can choose to participate in an oral or poster presentation. This opportunity is available to current college and university (Bachelor, Master, Ph.D.) students, as well as recent graduates (2024) and current postdoctoral fellows. The 2025 Symposium will take place both in-person in Edmonton, Montreal, Raleigh, as well as virtually.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Information to be provided (Word document): Contact information of primary presenter, institution, level of degree, and discipline; presentation title, list of authors, and an extended abstract should be about 500 words, including an introduction, materials & methods, results & discussion, and conclusion. Please specify the presentation preference (oral, poster, or either). Please submit it to munevaro@ualberta.ca.

Oral Presentations will be 10 minutes in length, and preference will be given to students who did not present at the 2024 Symposium.

Abstracts not selected for oral presentation will have the option of poster presentation.

Poster presentations will be in person in Montreal, Edmonton, and Raleigh. Presenters will provide a 3-minute video highlighting the key points to invite attendees to visit their poster.
